For some, there is complete disdain of the police department, even if Jesse Jackson was the police chief.

That odious little tidbit came from Sanford, Florida city commissioner Randy Jones upon Sanford’s refusal of the resignation of police chief Bill Lee. Followers of the blog recognize Sanford, FL as the location of the killing of Trayvon Martin and Chief Lee as the head of the police department that so botched the investigation the Department of Justice had to step in.

This little racist morsel of dreck, however, takes it to a whole new level of ugly.

Newt Gingrich, trying to make something where there isn’t something. How dare President Obama notice the long history of young black men dying violently? How dare he notice that Trayvon Martin looked like him, like his own son would look? How dare this black man note race in any way, shape or form? He must be trying to start the RACE WAR!

This is how the GOP addresses race: they don’t. We can’t discuss race, in GOPland, because race “doesn’t matter” and if we bring it up, especially if we (that is, us black folk) bring it up, it’s always because we’re trying to start something or worse, assert that racially motivated crimes against us are a problem, or something…

This is the first time, but it’s likely not the last time I say Newton Leroy Gingrich, SHUT THE FUCK UP.

We are taking a beating over this. This is all very unsettling. I’m sure if George Zimmerman had the opportunity to relive Sunday, Feb. 26, he’d probably do things differently. I’m sure Trayvon would, too.

That’s Sanford, Florida Police Chief Bill Lee again, this time blaming Trayvon Martin for his own murder. I can’t even with this man. I’m not even bothering to link because reading the whole thing is just nauseating.

I’m thinking I need some kind of graphic with an award, because the chief is perilously close to winning my:

The hysteria, the media circus, it’s just crazy. It’s the craziest damn thing I’ve ever seen, and it’s sad. It’s sad for the city of Sanford, the police department, because I know in my heart we did a good job.

Sanford, Florida police chief Bill Lee, trying to make himself the story as his department continues to fail to arrest or charge George Zimmerman for what’s beginning to look like a full blown execution style murder of 17 year old Trayvon Martin.

Chief Lee, eat a bowl of dicks, and STFU, you racist scumbag.
